We are situted on the A431 -next to Bitton recreation Ground

Looking for a site with plenty of space we are a large site with few pitches and basic facilities situated midway between Bristol and Bath.

The site has access to the Bristol and Bath Cycle Path and Bitton Steam Railway which run at the rear of the field. There are also lovely walks to local pubs and restaurants along the river.

Access is a gate off the main road and there is enough room to accomodate everybody without seeming crowded.

Dogs are welcome if well-behaved and kept on lead whilst on site, as we have Alpacas and a sheep.

Avon Valley Steam Railway -Cycle Route Bristol to Bath and beyond - Local garden centre with Cafe - Country Pubs/Restaurants a short walk or drive

Bristol - Historic docks (Cultural Hub), Brunels SS Great Britain and Suspension Bridge

Bath - Natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture, The museum at the site of the original Roman-era Baths includes The Great Bath, statues and a temple.

Stopped here due to its location - it’s on a bus route between Bristol and Bath. We are a self-contained Motorhome so did not make use of the toilets, but all recycling facilities and water easily accessible A huge open field where the owners have left the centre to grow and pitching is around the edges. Owner Pam is delightful and very helpful Highly recommend this stop

We spent two lovely days at this site. The Stables is very conveniently positioned on the main road between Bath and Bristol. However, there's masses of space and we were surrounded by trees and a beautiful meadow. We like peace when we're camping and this site was so peaceful we could have been in the heart of the country. The owner is lovely - very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning to this site - couldn't have been better!

Loved the partial meadow. Plenty of mowed space along the hedge/tree line for good partial shade spots. Quite and friendly. Only problem was the noisy party-goers up the road on Saturday.
