Directions:
Head to Retford, we are just off the A1.
Where Grove Coach Road bends to the right – becoming Cavendish Road – continue straight on along the minor road marked restricted byway. It looks like a farm track. At the T-junction turn right. Little Oak is first on the right.
Please note some satnavs take you the wrong way, make sure you are on Grove Coach Road and not Grove Road, if you go over a railway line turn back.
When you arrive please ring the doorbell of the main house and we will show you around.
Little Oak Camping is a tranquil and secluded Nottinghamshire campsite and glampsite. Tucked away near the market town of Retford, deep in the heart of Robin Hood country, enjoy your stay with camping and glamping. You will feel at home in a charming spot surrounded by fields, a wild garden and a brilliant family play space, for hide-and-seek, football and fun. Accommodation at Little Oak Camping can be booked as a whole for groups, parties and weddings, or on quieter weekends, it can act as an intimate romantic space. With the best of Nottinghamshire glamping and camping available, there is something for everyone here!
Our tranquil Nottinghamshire campsite is set at the foot of our 2 acre property, surrounded by fields and a wild garden. It’s a beautiful, peaceful space suitable for up to 15 pitches. We limit the number of campers so we can offer generous pitch sizes so you can enjoy a bit more space. We want your stay to be special and offer a number of features which we think make a big difference.
Glamping available in cosy Romany style caravan.
Brand new shower and toilet facilities.

There is no electricity for the pitches. Camper vans, caravans, commercial and twin-axle vehicles are not allowed.
Things to do
At Little Oak, we are surrounded by stunning countryside. If you enjoy whiling away the hours exploring you will love it. There is a great gastro pub within walking distance of our glamping site, to delight foodies. If you’re watching your pennies, we also have a cheap and cheerful establishment on our doorstep. With many charming independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, the delightful market town of Retford is also within easy walking distance.
A bit further afield we are near Sherwood forest, some beautiful stately homes and some stunning historic cities.
