Secluded adult only campsite in the beautiful conservation village of Thorganby, just outside York. Local village pub 2 minutes walk up the lane serving food 7 days a week, quiz nights, and real ales. Regular bus into York can be caught outside the pub. Thorganby lies in the Lower Derwent Valley nature reserve with bird hides, walks and great cycle routes. Local fishing is available on the river Derwent or fishing lake just outside the village. This can be reached via a footpath near the campsite.


A chance to escape to the country and grab a bit of tranquillity. Nothing fancy, just beautiful countryside, a traditional English pub and local walks. York city centre is a 30 minute bus ride and local attractions, such as Castle Howard, are within easy reach.
