Directions

We are positioned just behind the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway Station in Pickering centre, only Pickering Beck separates us. Entering Pickering at the large roundabout from the A64, turn left, then right at the lights where Lidl is; drive down The Ropery, take a left turn onto Bridge Street, past the Rose Inn, over the stone bridge and an immediate right, signposted Beck Isle Museum. Drive past the Museum keeping it to your right, carry on down the track past the buildings and head for the large trees and look for the green wooden gates, pull in to Tin and Canvas Glamping.
Unique Glamping/Camping location, best of Town & Country, 2 acre country meadow, 2 minutes walk from Pickering High St, North Yorkshire, Gateway to the Moors & Coast.
Overlooking NYMR Steam Railway station, next to Pickering Beck.
Located away from roads down an historical carriage way.

Location, Location!, want to glamp in the beautiful countryside but have the benefits of bars, shops, cafe's on hand? No need to use the car, Tin and Canvas is located in a beautiful meadow, surrounded by mature trees and Pickering Beck running along the side. Yet we are only 2 minutes walk from everything Pickering High St, has to offer.

Pickering is the Gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast and is a beautiful traditional country market town.

Sit back, hear and see the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone time; the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway Station in Pickering is right next door. You can watch the steam trains pulling in and out of the station, from the meadow and feel like one of the Railway Children from the childhood movie. The railway is famous for the recent TV series.

Rabbits, Pheasants, Deer and Heron even visit us. The meadow is mown weekly with a cut pathway around and areas left wild to encourage, Bee's, Birds and Butterflies. We are set away from the roads but down an historical carriage way. With lots of beautiful walks on your door step through the gates, handy for Newtondale Valley and Pickering Woods and Castle.
