Directions

From Verwood follow signs to the Heavy Horse Park. After passing the park on your left, take the sandy track on the right off the steep left hand bend. Follow the track to the end, bearing right at the fork and you will find Hillside Campsite on your left.
We are a small, friendly, family owned site offering 15 spacious pitches, peacefully nestling into the Ringwood Forest, on the edge of the New Forest.

Come and enjoy your stay in the beautiful South Coast of England and relax in your forest hideaway

Up a beautiful track well off the road. Walks directly off site into the forest. Stunning walks to local town of Verwood with a good selection of restaurants and take-aways, a large Morrisons and local fish & chips.
Crane Valley golf course is also 10 minutes away.
The New Forest Water Park is a short drive.
Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park is 5 minutes away and offers many attractions for children young and old.
Award winning sandy beaches of Bournemouth and Poole are a 20 minute drive with excellent shopping and night life.
The cathedral city of Salisbury is 20 minutes away with Stonehenge not far north.
Wimborne Minster sits 9 miles away with interesting shops and a fascinating model town.
For the older children there is horse riding at Godshill or Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World a 20 minute drive away.
Moors Valley Country Park has a Go-Ape adventure course as well as nature trails and play parks - the miniature railway is well worth a visit.
Or you could just relax on your 11m pitch with nothing but the birds and wildlife to disturb you.

Our first time here and really enjoyed it for a quick getaway with our little boy. Lots of lovely space, beautiful trees. Enjoyed the Heavy Horse Centre and hope to go cycling next time we visit.
