We are conveniently located with a bus stop at the end of Staplake Lane, a level 5 minute walk, buses travel to Exeter or Newton Abbot & Torquay. Trains run regularly from Starcross Station (15 mins walk) going down to Paignton or Exeter City Centre and beyond.

The Exe Estuary Cycle Trail goes through Starcross and onto Dawlish Warren and Dawlish one way or towards Exeter and around the Exmouth. Why not cycle to Exmouth and catch the Starcross Ferry back. The cycle trail is a level easy ride and even follows the canal into Exeter City Centre.

Cockwood harbour is a short 15 minute walk and is home to two very popular local traditional Devonshire pubs The Anchor Inn and the Ship Inn. The Anchor is a traditional Ole-Worlde pub over 450 years old overlooking the harbour and was once a haven for seamen and smugglers, you can choose to eat in the pub or restaurant, specialising in seafood and famous for it's mussels is well worth a visit. The Ship Inn is just a few steps from the Harbour and is a Traditional Village Pub offering delicious home-cooked food very popular with the locals.
