Tregonetha Lake: A Small, Peaceful Campsite
Relax and unwind at Tregonetha Lake, a small, peaceful campsite set in the Cornish countryside. The site sits next to a two-acre lake, surrounded by open farmland and natural woodland, making it the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy some quiet time in nature.
Our Lake View Camping Field has pitches for tents, campervans, motorhomes, and caravans, all overlooking the lake. For a more secluded experience, we have four woodland pitches, tucked among the trees and just a short walk from the water. All pitches operate on a choose-where-you-want-to-pitch basis, giving you the freedom to pick the spot that feels right. Many guests love taking a gentle walk around the lake, spotting birds and wildlife, or simply sitting and enjoying the calm surroundings.
Evenings at Tregonetha Lake are magical. Gather around a campfire, watch the sun sink behind the trees, or just listen to the gentle sounds of the lake. It’s a place to slow down, switch off, and enjoy the simple pleasures of being outdoors.
We’ve made sure the facilities are comfortable and practical without taking away from the natural feel of the site. There are beautifully designed compost toilets, hot showers, and a water supply, all set thoughtfully into the landscape. Even though it’s off-grid, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your stay with ease.
Tregonetha Lake is a small campsite with a big impact. Its combination of tranquil waters, woodland, wildlife, and well-designed facilities makes it a perfect spot for families, couples, or solo campers. Whether you’re here for a weekend break, a summer holiday, or a quiet overnight stop, it’s a place to relax, reconnect with nature, and leave feeling refreshed.
