Directions

From A30 take A3047 signed Helston Scorrier passing 3 mini roundabouts, staying on the A3047 until the 4th roundabout - Take A393. 4 mini roundabouts heading towards Lanner. 0.2mi After the 4th mini roundabout turn right at Carn Marth Lane. Cont. for
0.5mi then turn left and we are the 1st property on the left before you get to the bridge.
A spacious & peaceful site in stunning landscape. A great base to explore most of Cornwall and enjoy the many surfing beaches close by. A place to relax and listen to the birdsong yet only 0.5 mile to the village shops, bakery, pubs & restaurants, and the Town, with it's supermarkets, cinema and takeaways, being just 1.5 miles.

Once you arrive, you can choose where you'd like to pitch in any of the 3 paddocks. We only have a small number of pitches, so there's ample room and space between each pitch. There's two hot showers and 2 x flush toilets & hand basins together with an enclosed washup area with hot water also - all conveniently located in a central area. On top of that, you can use the kitchen in the main house with a communal kettle, fridge/ freezer & microwave, with another wash up area also.

Firepits and bbq's are allowed but need to be raised off the ground - we have bricks available for you to use. We have a small number of firepits for those staying 6 nights or more, available on a 1st come 1st served basis - free of charge.
Once you've been to the beach or had a surf, there's a handy area to wash off the sand ready for the next day. We don't have Ehu's as we encourage dark skies so you can enjoy the stars, so don't forget to bring your torch. There is lighting and power in the shower / toilet area though.

We welcome children 8 years and over & up to 2 dogs (free of charge) - all we ask is that you keep your dogs on leads or contained and clean up and use the bin near the entrance.
We don't charge extra for gazebo's or awnings and you're not limited for space. There's enough areas for a ball game or two in the centre of each paddock.

We moved here in 2016 and worked hard to transform the place from being overgrown and derelict. Firstly, we converted the barn into two holiday cottages and then set about realising our original dream to create the campsite. With Freedom Camping Club's guidance we finally achieved this goal and created a little escape for everyone to enjoy.

If you're after relaxation, tranquility, space, great facilities and a friendly atmosphere in the heart of Cornwall, far from the crowd yet close to everything, then we'd love to see you.

Best wishes
Martin, Sam & Billy (the cat).

Things to do

The Tresavean Trail (walking & cycling) is just a 2 minute walk from the site and this links to a network of trails throughout the area.

Horse riding is only a five minutes' drive away - so have a go at swapping your two legs for four.

Stithians Reservoir (windsurfing, fishing & canoeing): is just 2 miles away

For beach lovers and surfers there's a huge choice of beaches within a short drive
Porthtowan
Gwithian
Portreath
Perranporth to name just a few

If Golf is your bag, you can book a round at Tehidy, just 20 minutes away

Falmouth (shops, pubs, beach on the South coast) is only a 25 minute easy drive, Truro City is about the same and St Ives and Penzance is easily reached via the A30 which is only 2 miles away, but you'd never know it.

A day trip to the Eden Project may take your fancy but there are plenty of amazing National Trust Gardens which are much closer. There's Trevince, Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick Gardens, just to name a few.
