Sea views, stunning sunsets on site; dogs and kids welcome, stacks of space and a splendidly relaxed vibe…what more could you want from a Ceredigion campsite? (If the answers ‘somewhere we can take the dogs and kidS,then you'll be pleased to hear they're both most welcome here).
Garth View is a place that's got all of the above - this small family-run site looks out over a lovely valley with the sea in the distance, and it prides itself on offering a warm Welsh welcome to its guests. It's a no-fuss setup here, favouring simple pleasures over lots of facilities, but it`s possible to hire fire pits, freeze ice packs and store cold foods with our onsite fridge and separate freezer, along with phone charging, kettle and microwave. You`ll have access to two very modern and spacious bathrooms (including hot-water showers, sinks and toilets), as well as two single toilets
and separate hot water washing area.
The location here is a real winner too: Garth View is easily accessed from the A487, and it's within walking distance of the Ceredigion Coast Path and the harbour town of Aberaeron (about two miles away), which has plenty of places to eat. A couple of convenience stores are about 5 to 10 minutes walk away too, one being a Morrison's Daily store, if you'd rather go for self catering or there is also the traditional 200 year old pub, the Red Lion serving home cooked foods just an 8 minute walk away or the award winning Moody Cow just a 20 minute walk away with Farm Shop, Bistro, Play Barn & Event Venue plus new for 2025 a Trampoline & Foam pit/Ninja Park.
There`s also a local launderette within walking distance for any dirty washing you may have.
Lots of the best-loved spots along the West Wales coast are within easy reach for days out: its a 10-minute drive to New Quay for wildlife-spotting boat trips or half an hour to Cardigan, a hub for watersports and other outdoorsy activities.
The beaches of Llangrannog and Tresaith are about 20 minutes away, or you can venture a little further to
Aberporth (25 minutes) or Mwnt (35 minutes). For a bigger town, head north to Aberystwyth in just over half an hour.
