Get away from it all to our area of outstanding natural beauty, and stay in one of our two fully furnished bell tents. They are sited separately in their own individual secluded, peaceful little fields offering privacy, peace and quiet, on our working farm at Knighton-On-Teme.
There is a parking located near but not next to the tents. This leads over a small bridge between the trees to the first of our tents called Evelyn, this field is more secluded with a woodland feel. Just a short walk between the hedge row and our living wall (created to provide privacy to visitors staying in Evelyn) is the second tent called Lillian.
The converted vintage Rice horse trailer provides a quirky yet luxury composting toilet, basin and shower. Walk ways have been cut into the meadow grass whilst maintaining a natural habitat for the wildlife. Each tent is furnished with a comfortable double bed and for children bed rolls can be provided. To keep warm on those chilly nights, hot water bottles are available.
The kitchen pods at each tent contain a gas double burner, cutlery, cooking utensils, and dining sets, along with China teapots, milk jugs, sugar bowls, cups and saucers. BBQs are also provided.
The washing facilities, Indoor Dining Area and recycling are located in the same field as Lillian.
Our indoor dining area contains a table and chairs perfect for those colder evenings or to shelter from bad weather. You can also find local OS maps, wildlife books and the Welsh Dresser containing the Honesty Shop. Our Local Produce Shop has items such as Jams, Preserves, Chutneys, Honey and Apple Juice. We also have perishable items, which are located up by the farm house. We can now offer our own sausages, bacon, eggs and when available garden produce such as tomatoes and courgettes, so that when you arrive BBQ’s can be fired straight up.
The Lillian field has a more open aspect, looking up towards the farm and Clee Hill, with established hedges to 3 sides the long side is fenced.
Nestled in view of the Clee Hill, on the edge of the Teme Valley, this is a peaceful and tranquil location; the scenery and wildlife are diverse and beautiful. The grass verge to the lane is a designated wild flower area, and the woods and pool adjacent are home to a diverse wildlife population. This is a place where you can gaze at the stars, get away from it all and spot the local wildlife. There are free range sheep, cattle, pigs, hens, guinea fowl, horses and children. But please do not worry, our fields are well fenced and will keep unwanted visitors out!
