This truly is a beautiful, tranquil place from which to soak up a wonderful piece of Yorkshire, with 5 acres of mature thorn woodland, interspersed with grassland and clearings and a wealth of natural flora & fauna. Our Glamps have been purposefully sited within the grounds to each offer a unique and private setting. Our log powered hot tubs, steamy showers and in-tent stoves provide some added luxury to your wild stay too!

Castle Howard (6 mins by road or 3-4 mile walk) – A must see, out-of-this-world spectacular stately home & gardens.
The Yorkshire Arboretum (7 mins) – Sister site of Castle Howard, set in 120 acres of their estate with parkland, lakes and a wealth of nature.
Malton town – (16 mins) Yorkshire’s food capital and a lovely example of a proper Yorkshire market town. Best visited for the monthly food market and annual Food Lover’s Festival but a great town to wander at any time.
Eden Camp Museum (16 mins) – Modern history museum that brings the WWII wartime experience to life.
National Trust Nunnington Hall (19 mins) – Fabulous hstorical home, always has lots going on… and otters!
Yorkshire Air Museum (22 mins) – Great for aviation enthusiasts, former RAF Bomber Command turned home to some excellent planes, including the Halifax bomber.
City of York – (25 mins) Visit a wealth of attractions including The Jorvik Viking Centre, York Walls, The Minster, The Shambles, National Railway Museum, River Cruises or just have a wander around one of the most pedestrian friendly cities going.
North Yorkshire Moors Railway Pickering (28 mins) – Wonder at the historical station in this lovely market town or jump aboard a heritage steam train and journey across the stunning moors.
Filey, Scarborough & The Coast (under an hour) – We all love to be beside the sea, and Yorkshire has some wonderful examples of traditional seaside towns as well as stretches of striking coastline.
